This page explains what personal information Northern Meisner Lab collects, why, and what happens to it. Northern Meisner Lab is run by me, Adam Stadius. If you have any questions, email northernmeisnerlab@gmail.com.

What I collect and why

When you email me: your name, email address and anything you tell me. I use it to reply to you.
When you join a waitlist: the details you give on the Google Form. I use them to tell you when dates and places are available, and to arrange a short call before you book.
When you book: payments are handled by Stripe. I see your name, email address, phone number and what you booked, so I can run the class and contact you about it. I never see your card details.
When you join Module One: I'll add you to a WhatsApp group for your cohort, where other members of the group can see your phone number. Tell me if you'd rather not be added.
When you join an online session (a taster or Moment to Moment Module One): you take part on Zoom, using the link I send you. Tasters aren't recorded. Module One sessions are recorded, because the course runs continuously. Only the actors in that Module One group can watch the recordings, and I delete them two weeks after the module ends.
When you join the mailing list: your email address, held by Mailchimp. I use it to send you new dates and news about Northern Meisner Lab. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

I don't sell or share your information with anyone else, and I don't use it for anything other than the reasons above.

The services I use

These companies handle some of your information on my behalf, under their own privacy policies:

Stripe takes payments
Mailchimp sends the mailing list
Zoom runs the online sessions: the tasters and Moment to Moment Module One
WhatsApp runs the Module One group chats
Google runs the waitlist forms, the email account and the class dates sheet
Netlify hosts this website

When you visit the site, your browser fetches the upcoming class dates from Google, and Netlify keeps basic technical records such as your IP address. This is needed for the site to work.

Cookies

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and it doesn't use analytics.

How long I keep it

I keep booking records for as long as I need them for my accounts, usually six years. I keep waitlist and email details until you ask me to remove them, or until they're no longer needed. Module One recordings are deleted two weeks after the module ends. You can leave the mailing list at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email northernmeisnerlab@gmail.com and I'll reply within a month.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
